Oshun is a Yoruba orisha. Goddess of water, love and identity. She does not need labels.

When we were looking for a name for this brand, Oshun had already been there for a long time — saved, waiting. There was something in the name that said everything without explaining it: an energy that does not understand labels, that flows where it wants and wears what it wants. The name came from a conversation, a friendship, from someone who carried it in their roots. Once we said it out loud in relation to jewelry, there was no other choice.

Oshun Jewelry was born in Mataró in 2023. Mataró is a small city with its own character — coast, mountains, farmland, industry, university and entrepreneurs. That is the spirit we wanted to put into every piece. Not shopping-centre jewelry, not big brands selling the same thing to everyone. Something more honest. More direct.

The idea was simple: fill a real gap. The silver jewelry market was full of brands aimed at a very specific audience, with a very specific language and lifestyle. We wanted to make good pieces that anyone could wear — without the website first telling them whether they were for him or for her.

925 silver. No costume jewelry. No excuses.

The base of our jewelry is 925 sterling silver: 92.5% pure silver, with the rest copper for strength. Some designs add gold finishes or plating over that same silver base. If silver darkens over time, it is a natural reaction of the metal and can be restored with the right cloth.

We design in Mataró and produce with trusted suppliers we know closely. Every piece goes through quality control before it leaves. We are not a factory — we are a small brand that knows exactly what it sends.

Gender-neutral. For real.

It is not a marketing claim. We do not have a men’s section and a women’s section. We have collections. Every piece is designed for whoever wants to wear it — on whichever finger, wrist or with whatever clothes they choose.

We are small, and that makes us careful. We produce what we sell, without unnecessary overstock. We work with local suppliers whenever we can, avoid unnecessary plastic in our packaging, and offer an exchange program so pieces you no longer wear do not end up forgotten.
